Linda's editorial is pretty nice  But I can't say the same for the cover...Maybe it's the quality of the image, but she looks tired to me.

The cover is a mess. She looks natural, Naturally Sleepy and bored as F! Their covers are getting worse

The cover shot is like an amateur headshot from someone's Facebook profile. I feel like I get the idea, but it just doesn't work on a cover. Elle Italia also needs to seriously review their policy re a) the font, b) the size, colors and amount of text on the cover, because that is just ugly.

"Crazy Couture" is nice, but not "crazy" enough. Is that Louis Vuitton in the last shot? (My Italian is rusty. :p)

lol @ facebook profile pic! I love the ed though

That cover is precisely what I'd expect from an issue that's trying to prove some sort of point about realism - they're really emphasising what's ordinary about her, so that we 'see the difference' which probably involves them expending a lot of effort to make someone look this mundane.

Generally speaking, it's entirely possible to be dressed-down or bare-faced and still be absolutely stunning, but in magazines, 'being natural' usually seems to involve wearing a white vest while appearing rather torpid. It was interesting, the first few times I saw this story done, but then I started yearning to see nudists covered in glitter, or any sort of antidote to the dullness.

luv luv luv Rileys' photoshoot....she should've been on the cover! I agree that the cover shot is not attractive at all...that would definitely turn a buyer away from it.
:innocent:
