The name Ernie Bridge will be familiar to many of you as a former MP in Western Australia, he’s spent a large part of his life in the limelight. Well now it’s his granddaughter’s turn. Emily Cattermole is only 14-years-old, but she's already making a name for herself in modelling circles. And like her grandfather, she's espcially proud of her heritage.

DIANNE BAIN (REPORTER As a 'Live' girl Emily follows in the footsteps of other young models like Gemma Ward, who's gone on to mega-model stardom.
ERNIE BRIDGE (GRANDFATHER AND FORMER LABOR MP I've got to say the thing that has surprised me most of all is the maturity that she promotes publicly when she's performing her work. She comes across as not a 14 year old young lady but a very mature young lady that's been in the modelling business for a long time.
DIANNE BAIN (REPORTER And although her future is looking very bright at the moment she's counting her lucky stars... thrilled to work with her favourite footballer Chad Fletcher, the male face of Live.
EMILY CATTERMOLE (MODEL We didn't actually meet and I've seen him before at training and it was just exciting to see that one of my favourite people was sort of doing something that I was doing as well.
DIANNE BAIN (REPORTER While Emily may have looks to rival Elle MacPherson, she's adamant the close relationship she has with her Grandpa will always come first. She's even taken an interest in Ernie Bridge's dream to rid indigenous communities of diabetes.
EMILY CATTERMOLE (MODEL I still go to the office and see what's going on and everything and how they're helping the people up it the Kimberley with diabetes and everything and we'd like to support it one day if I get the chance.
DIANNE BAIN (REPORTER And, if big time modelling agent Peter Chadwick has his way Emily will be propelled on to great things. He's invited her to work in Australia's fashion hub, Sydney.
EMILY CATTERMOLE (MODEL It's very exciting. I just can't believe that it's all happening and I might be over East by the end of this year working and doing something that I really want to do.
DIANNE BAIN (REPORTER For Emily it's the chance of a lifetime but she's not letting it go to her head. She's still proud to sing along with her Grandpa and is adamant that her family will always come first.
