EMMA WATSON is making her way stylishly up the fashion ladder - sitting front row at the Christopher Kane show yesterday afternoon, she really liked what she saw.

"I haven't worn his clothes before but I met him at a party and he showed me some of his dresses on other girls and I just knew I wanted to see more, I loved them."

So has the interest in fashion only developed since her own A-list status came about via the Harry Potter films?

"Not really," said the tiny, gorgeous star, who was flanked by two very protective Storm model agents. "I've always been really interested in art and fashion. I've only ever been to one fashion show before - the Paris-Londres Chanel show - but this season I'm seeing this one, Giles Deacon tonight and then I'm going to Paris to see Balenciaga, Chanel and McQueen. I really can't wait."

So how is her confidence on the catwalk? Is it scary walking into a show with all the flashbulbs popping?

"It is a bit intimidating, yes - but everybody looks so incredible, I'm enjoying myself too."

Eh it's annoying how some people get to go to these shows just because of their 'celebrity'. I mean, as much as people try to paint her a 'fashionista' or style icon, I really disagee. I doubt she really cares that much about fashion - yes, I'm jealous.

I think she's truly interested in fashion; however, she's nowhere near as passionate as the majority of us on here.

It's like she'd much rather get to know about the designers and their collections because she's wearing them... as opposed to learning about them to grow further as a lover of fashion and to better appreciate the hard work that goes into each stitch of a design.

Well, heck, whatever, she's interested and can afford it . As a designer for front row, besides the right industry folks, I'd either want celebrities and/or people who can actually afford my stuff. "True fans" wouldn't care about such superficial perks anyway because it's all about the craft, after all, amIright?

She tends to wear one designer head to toe, that kind of thing.
