The best were Mariska Hartigay. Joely Richardson, Drea De Matteo, Mischa Barton, Melania Knauss, and Kristen Davis. Was not a fan of the Debra Messing, Maria Menoudos, and Edie Falco looks.

My picks, catagorized into Likes, Ehhhh, and Dislikes:

Likes:

Mischa Barton - I loved it...sort of flapperish, and the thing about the way the dress fits on her is because she has some HIPS (although she's exceptionally talented at covering that up, usually, but if you see pictures of her in a bikini or just look at other pictures in general, she's a very very obvious pear shape...she just happens to look much more slender because of her height (5'8", I believe) and the fact that her upper body is slim. So the dress fits her hips and keeps a looser fit on top, which makes her body look more balanced. People seem to think she's a snob, but in the interview that they had with her, she seemed more nervous and embarrassed than anything...which is usually the perception I get from her - she has a low voice, and slightly funky speaking patterns (prob. because of her upbringing - partly raised in the UK and partly in New York), and I think the tone of one's voice and the inflections they put on words can make things sound a little more rude or nice, depending on the person...but that's imho, and a little off topic, sorry.

Drea de Matteo - Love the dress - black is one of my favourite colours and I love the quirky little aspects of it.

Jen Garner - FINALLY something that DOESN'T emphasize her masculine shoulders...I would never spring for something with that much lace myself, though.

Mariska Hargitay - LOVE LOVE this dress. It's a lovely, unexpected colour, great cut, and looks amazing on her.

Famke Janssen - great colour, fits her own colouring so well and the cut is lovely.

Kristen Davis - my favourite - simply amazing, as usual...

Mary Louise Parker - THE BREASTS! (there was some joke at the last awards ceremony about them, lol!) - the colour is lovely, as well.

Jamie Lynn-Discala - the cut is great, and the colour is pretty.

Janel Maloney - sunshine yellow - beautiful fit on her.

Patricia Heaton - unexpected pattern on a traditional style.

Kathryn Morris - classic but stunning.


Ehhhhh:

Joely Richardson - pretty, but very overdone, this style.

SJP - pretty, but not her best - didn't catch my eye...

Amber Tamblyn - Seen this style before...kind of re-runish, but the colour is amazing.

Laura Linney - quirky but not too appealing.

Teri Hatcher - Pretty, but there's something off that I can't place and it makes me not like it as much as I could.

Alison Janney - nice colour but bland...


Dislikes:

Portia de Rossi - bland

Melania Knauss - I feel like I've seen it so many times before...colour is pretty on her, but it looks like something Jessica Simpson wore...or would wear, if she got the chance.

Kim Catrall - eccchh.

Edie Falco - love the woman, but not the dress.

Angelica Huston - err...are those CHILIS?

Sharon Stone - liked the one she wore to MTV better, but either way, I really don't like neither of them.

Cynthia Nixon - soo bland.

Jennifer Aniston - bland, and sort of shapeless...

it definitely is chanel couture, and i believe it is see through... apparently the dress also RIPPED apart...i didn't see the emmy's myself but i received this information from someone

Okay Sharon looked bad to me.. I mean she's beautiful but she's soo boney and she was wearing that cut out dress that did nothing for her.. I thought the best dressed imo is Mariska Hargitay! I just loved her dress, the color her hair! But Cojo said on his list she was one of the worst dressed I was like what the? Jennifer Aniston needs a new hairstyle she looks the same to me..
