Also, Emmy was selected as a "classic beauty" as part of People magazine's "World's Most Beautiful" issue. According to the magazine, “Classic beauties bring some of the author’s words to life in honor of the 200th anniversary of Pride and Prejudice.” (scan from emmyweb)

I'm undecided about about the look as a whole but I do see her embracing the "punk" theme somewhat.

I think that's the intention. Emmy's personal style isn't what you'd call "punk" by any means, so I think that this was her way of giving a nod to the theme (with the jewelry, hair and make up) while still having something that's more her with the gown.

I know I was undecided on the look in my previous post, but the more I see it the more I like it. A lot of people ignored the theme altogether and played it pretty safe. Emmy embraced them them in her own way.
