Hi everybody, I'm very interested in using only environmentally friendly resources for my fashion designs and know there are a lot of you out there who would like to have this information as well. Specifically I'm looking for the following...

- eco-friendly textiles (from fancy to plain/heavy weight to gauzy) that are:
organic
don't use harmful chemical dyes, bleaches or finishes
cruelty free
were produced in a 'water conscious' way

- eco-friendly notions
thread
trimmings (lace, ribbon, piping etc)
interfacings/linings etc
zippers
buttons (attractive, recycled non-synthetic or other wise durable
eco-friendly alternatives)

- eco-friendly fabric dyes or methods and fabric paints

If you could advise and/or share your information, links, opinions and even ideas on this matter I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you all in advance,

Have a wonderful day,

Ayisha

Thank you so much Lucysv! I'm in the process of putting together an Eco-Friendly Fashion resource website and this may be very helpful. Thank you again.

Have a wonderful day,

Ayisha

This is an awesome eco-friendly initiatvie, I do wish they had an online version of their magazine, I wasn't able to find one, although looking up the designers will be helpful.

You wouldn't happen to have their link?

Thank you Lucysv

Contact the Ethical Fashion Forum for sourcing information. They also have a community forum.

Good luck!

Thanks Kaitlyn Aliano, that will be a good link to add to my site as well.
