Could you paste the text here? Womehow, the link doesn't work for me :(.

I can't wait to see her work. :woot:

That sounds like a great move, and not the usual acting or singing venture.

Erin O'Connor - From Catwalk to Creative Director
Clotheshow Live is back for a fashion packed 2004 edition. Top model Erin O’Connor takes her strut off the catwalk and moves over to the other side as the shows Creative Director.

“I am really excited to be styling the catwalk shows at Clotheshow Live this year, as well as heading up all the creative elements to create a new and fresh look for 2004” said Erin. “I have been immersed in fashion, from high street to couture, for many years and this is a great opportunity to put some of that knowledge into practice. I’m sure I’ll be calling in a few favours!”

Fashion icons move to Brum Dec 3 2004

By Diane Parkes, Evening Mail

Fashion rules at this year's Clotheshow Live where thousands of the latest designs are up for grabs for eager shoppers.

The annual fashion extravaganza was opening its doors at the NEC today for a six-day feast of clothes, jewellery, hair and beauty.

The country's biggest celebration of fashion and design has this year been masterminded by Brownhills supermodel Erin O'Connor, who organised the catwalk shows and marketing campaign.

Erin has convinced friends and top models including Lizzie Jagger, Jodie Kidd, Jade Parfitt, Jasmine Guinness and Vivien Solar, to hit the catwalk in the Fashion Theatre.

They will be showing off the latest collections from designers including Matthew Williamson, Jean Paul Gaultier and Giorgio Armani.

The Designer Catwalk features work from Zandra Rhodes, Betty Jackson and Toby Pimlico.

The best of British will be showcased with collections from Lambretta, Boxfresh, Merc London and Ringspun while the hottest High Street styles will be in the Chic Boutique.

The Battersea Vintage Fair will be moving from London for six days to sell one-off vintage pieces from names such as Biba and Dior as well as bespoke jewellery and accessories.

Clotheshow Live runs until Wednesday. Hours are 10am-6pm today and 9am-6.30pm from tomorrow.

Tickets can be ordered on 0870 902 0555 or online at www.clotheshowlive.com.

Here's an article I found on the clothes show.

Yeah, I'm going too. My college organises it every year (I'm in a fashion design class). I'm looking forward to it, but I don't think it really does what you'd want it to. It's too broad based and is set out to cater for as many people as possible, rather than to be a Fashion Design showcase, as you would expect.
I wasn't too impressed with last years catwalk, but from the sounds of this:

It should be verry interesting this year. I'm glad they've made it more of a showcase of great designers as well as mixing in high street designers. I hope the stalls will follow suit and display some real talent this year.
And hopefully they won't get some sh*tty pop act that aren't actually singing to "play" beforehand! *grr*!

thanks for posting everyone! it all sounds very interesting to me, and i wish i had time to go there myself, but unfortunately not.....
but i hope someone's gonna report back!
