oh geez... i think her fall collection is a mess. Shorts with shearling cuffs? It's a bad concept and executed in a trashy way. I like her spring collection, for what it is, but the fall collection, I'd pass.

Actually I kind of like the shearling cuffs idea. They wouldn't look too bad with opaque black tights in the winter.

I have to agree with you, I love erin and I like her style and still do (more at the begging before she got so hyped) but I feel now, that she is more famous, shes trying a bit hard to be edgy or different.

I think Alexander Wang is to blame for this. What with all the air he’s been blowing into Erin’s head, I’m surprised she could fit in the tents this season.

I don't think this is a particularly bad collection, though; I've seen worse.

I do agree that it is completely not worth its cost. I think Erin is smart for turning the obsession with her style into a business opportunity; after all, why should everyone profit off her look but her?

The fact of the matter is that most TFS'ers know what they're talking about when it comes to fashion and quite frankly, cannot be fooled. However, that isn't the case for the mass market is it? As we all know, all it really takes to sell anything is an image people want to acquire; and really, Erin has that image.

Look at a celebrity who annoys you. Now just because they annoy you doesn't mean they don't have another 1,000,000 people out there who adore them.

Also, with regards to the “vintage look”, I'm not fan; and if I were a fan, I would go out and find my own vintage gems to rock. However, there are many elitist consumers who have the money to blow and would rather purchase their "vintage" at Saks. SOMEONE should profit off them, no?

when I asked them they said they might not be getting it in stock for at least two weeks. That's why i went out to go it in stores. I was impatient haha

i actually got the sideshow dress (the yellow version, not the blue) in xs, and the zeppelin shirt in small ( i like looser fits for buttondowns). The sideshow dress is love! I'm pretty thin, and I wasn't sure how it would fit when I saw it in pictures, but it fits perfectly. The zeppelin shirt is beautiful and so soft. It is well executed for a celebrity line. It puts Kate Moss' topshop line to shame. Erin's line looks better in person. I'm going to preorder the white leather vest and the studded skirt as well.
