I recently discovered this london-based designer, and since there was no thread on her, i wanted to share this.....i think her clothes are really feminine and perfect for mixing and matching, and they are sold in nyc at henri bendel, and in london at the cross, among others. She also has her own shop in london.
Here's the link to her site: www.estherfranklin.co.uk

Some background info:
Esther Franklin completed a Masters in Fashion Design at Central St Martins. Having seen Esther’s graduation show, US Vogue’s Editor at Large Andre Leon Tally became a great supporter. Andre arranged for Esther to fly to Milan to meet Donatella Versace. Five days after the meeting, Esther relocated to Milan to work at the Versace HQ. After five years there, Esther returned to London to concentrate on designing her own Women’s Wear collection, under the Esther Franklin label. Esther quickly achieved success with her first collection of couture Tees, receiving orders from some of the world’s top models; Gisele Bundchen, Karolina Kurkova, Amber Valetta and Carmen Kass. Esther eschews the idea of a uniform, concentrating instead on sensuous, feminine, fluid silhouettes for a contemporary elegance.

some of her dresses from the AW06 collection:

I actually like these A LOT!!!! Thanks for posting them liberty! I love the greys and blues . . . I can see myself wearing a lot of this--pretty but with a little quirkiness

It is very chloe esque but nice because it's quite ballet and grecian inspired as well. What is the pricing like? That for me would make it or break it

^i don't really have a clear idea about prices, but the recent harpers bazaar featured one of her dresses, for around $900 (a green one, from the summer collection, i think)...

i really love it! i love the ballet slippers wrapped around the feet. i, like chrissy, love the colors...it's totally my palette.

thanks for bringing this in, liberty!

I love that blue colour!
I like the ballet-thing.
