The Autumn Winter 2013 campaigns are now flooding in, as we've had ads from the likes of Mulberry, Dolce and Prada. Today we have one more to add to the pile, as the people at Giorgio Armani have very kindly given us the first look at their Autumn Winter 2013 campaign.
The campaign was shot in New York by photographer Craig McDean and stars Alex Cunha, Nils Butler, Marlon Teixeira, Jacquelyn Jablonsky, Ruby Aldridge and Esther Heesch. It gives us a look at what happens when models step off the catwalk as they are hanging out in a backstage area. Armani explain that: 'The perspectives are reversed, with the wings taking centre stage and the protagonists revealing their genuine selves.'
The look is Bugsy Malone on the catwalk, with girls in deep velvet sage and mushroom dresses paired with matching velvet clutches and shoes. While the gents are suited up in slick tailoring.
But that's not all as we also get to go backstage on the 'backstage shoot' and take a look at the model fittings and hair and makeup sessions. In the video you can see more of the autumn Armani styling, with the girls in Laduree mohair jumpers, teal statement earrings and dove grey cloche hats. The boys also make an outfit change, modelling moss green and navy leather coats.
