Ethan Peck

Ethan Gregory Peck (born March 2, 1986) is an American actor. He is best known for his work in the ABC Family network television series 10 Things I Hate About You, where he portrayed Patrick Verona, a role originated by Heath Ledger in the movie of the same name. Peck is the grandson of the late legendary actor Gregory Peck, and his first wife, Finnish-born Greta Kukkonen.
Recently seen in Gossip Girl, soon to be seen in In Time, currently filming The Wine of Summer.

He's super dishy looking. I saw like one episode of 10 Things I Hate About You but I must say Ethan was pretty good on the show. And being Gregory Peck's grandson I can certainly see a little bit of a resemblance... hopefully he has the acting chops just like his granddad.

I was going to post some pictures from his imdb.com page but its layout doesn't allow me to save the pictures plus my screen is too small to get a good screencap. Someone with a larger monitor might have better luck with that.

Also after finding out Gregory Peck has an actor grandson, I'm waiting for him to be in something I would want to watch. But first I have to force myself to watch movies actually made this century. I'm wondering whether In Time is something I'd like. It has an interesting premise but it doesn't really look like my usual type of movie.

He has his Grandfathers eyes I think, but actually when you watch him, he does have some of his mannerisms and sounds quite like it too. I hope he really go on to bigger and better things.

Okay, now that I see a picture of the two of them side by side the comparison becomes even more obvious. Ethan really does look like his granddad. Except I think his jaw is a little bit more defined then Gregory Peck's. Also, I think it's interesting to note that he's the only one of Gregory's children/grandchildren to pursue an acting career (from what I can tell). Although, while it's great to have that legacy as part of you heritage it also must be a bit of a burden having to be compared to such a great actor like Gregory Peck. Hopefully Ethan doesn't let it bother him and he continues to do well acting wise. I'm sure his granddad would be proud of him.
