Yay Lordi! They really mixed it up a bit back then. Haha I remember when they were elected as our act, Finnish people were so ready to flee Finland and change their nationalities but then we won and suddenly they were the biggest fans

But I agree, these past years Eurovision has been all about those sexy songs performed by even sexier artists and the emphasis has gone away from the song and lyrics... What I looked through the lyrics (subtitled in finnish) today at semifinals, those were some poor lyrics

Sweden was really good, sad that they didnt make it It's a shocker, they always seem to make it!

It's their first time not being in the finals, actually. Im very shocked that Sweden didn't make it, because the song is pretty nice, at least it's not as tacky as the rest.

The girl from Georgia said that she is going to wear a dress from a very famous designer... I wonder who's the designer... her hair is very Cheryl Cole though;-)))

I'm kinda sad Slovakia missed the cut. It's my favorite song this year, but I'm not terribly surprised. The performance was pretty bad. She didn't sound very good and I don't even understand why they would go with such a lame presentation.

My thoughts exactly. I love this song, but the performance wasn't good. Now my favorite song is the Ukrainian one, I hope it will win

I am sooo happy our country didn't make it. Not only was the song sh.t (you don't know the lyrics, if you did.. You'd die) but she is annoying aswell. I swear the whole country was embarrased for her and our country.

i will not be watching eurovision this year seeing that sweden didn't make it (they must of messed up the voting since most crappy songs made the cut).. but i'm hoping germany wins it all!

I didn't listen (and watch) all songs/performances, but I think my personal favourite at the moment is Lena from Germany. Catchy song + cute normal girl.

I loved that they interviewed the two Australians - they were just there to get a good laugh.
I'm never really a fan of the music. Mostly what I dislike the most ends up winning Well at least it's been so for the last 5-10 years.

They were rather funny.

I have to say that the semi final 2 was a lot more entertaining. Either the person actually had a good song or they didn't leave me falling asleep.

Someone got on stage during the spanish performance, and "danced" etc with the prof. dancers.. Poor kid, must've distracted him!

^Yeah! He kept it going well though....overall nothing's grabbed me yet, though Serbia is hilarious & just what I like at Eurovision Everything else seems so subdued!
