I just think that if Tyra meant to take this seriously then she's not doing a very good job in terms of selection. The entire fashion industry thinks it's a joke and she really hasn't picked a "winner" for the last three seasons. Eva as ANTM is particularly ridiculous.

Ok, yes, she looks awesome in this Covergirl ad but can she work a Dior dress with a 3ft train and not look stumpy next to Eric O'Connor? Can she carry a W or Vogue cover without Tyra's face next to her? You need both sides of the coin to be a 'top model.' Her as winner has me utterly confused.

Perhaps in Tyra's haste to have a black winner she hated on Yaya's confidence and this is the result, just a thought...

But Yaya and Amanda are only and inch taller than Eva, if Eva will look stumpy next to Eric O'Connor so will Yaya and Amanda. Yaya will look too muscular in Dior and Amanda can't even do runway (she's blind). I don't think Eva won because she was black and I also don't think that Tyra is jealous of Yaya's confidence, she has no reason to. If Tyra wanted a black winner then she would have chosen Kelle who had the height, body and face.

see... I think Amanda is much more exotic looking than Eva. Being black doesnt equal being exotic nowadays... I sort of think some people think that.... Amanda's bone structure is much more exotic in terms of proportion. Eva's beautiful, true, but I think that Amanda would have been a much better choice.

Yeah.....But you have to keep in mind what the prizes are...Eva is totally PREFECT for COVERGIRL...I mean I bet CoverGirl is real excited that the winner was CoverGirl of the Week 5 times in the row, and like twice before that!

I was really HAPPY to open People magazine and see Eva Covergirl advertisement in there...it was PERFECT, she belonged in there.

what i think theyve realized though, is that whatever model they pick is never going to be the top fashion model. so now theyve picked a commercial model with a great look who could potentially draw more viewers to the show.

i think it was a smart move.

exactly...because if these girls were hi-fashion and had the model body, they would of been signed with an agency already and not on some reality tv show.

Anyway, ANTM is a scam! But I watch it religiously. So, a white girl won the first one, and a white girl won the second one, it's only logical a minority win this time.
