A short interview with the supermodel and actress Eva Riccobono on the date of her birthday

How do you celebrate your birthday?

"I think I will celebrate it like every year at home with my closest friends. At times I think it would be good to organize a party but, what matters to me is spend it only with my true friends. It’s not the quantity but the quality that counts."


Your ideal birthday dinner party. You can invite 8 people (with no limits in time, so you can go back and even invite people who have passed away), who are they, why are you inviting them and where will the dinner take place?

"At the risk of sounding boring, my ideal birthday was as a kid, at home, in Palermo, with my family, my sisters and my closest friends. If I can include people who have passed away, the first one would be my brother, then my grandfather Nicola; John Wayne because he was my grandfather’s idol; Jim Morrison and Edith Piaf for their music; Audrey Hepburn for her positive attitude; Rabindranath Tagore and Albert Einstein for some good conversation after the meal. All in a cottage overlooking the Okavango Delta."

Tell us something about the Valentine’s Day video shot for Jaeger-LeCoultre with Matteo Ceccarini.

"This year Jaeger-LeCoultre thought about us as the brand’s ambassador couple. We have shot a short, half-cartoon half-movie, with Marco Maccapani in the role of director and music by Matteo Ceccarini. It is very lyrical and special. It’s the story of how Matteo gives me the new Reverso Ultra Thin on Valentine’s Day."
