I love NUXE Creme Fraiche - the best so far
I use Biotherm Biosensitive but I am hearing so many positive things about Nuxe, I think I'll try to get ahold of some to try!
is there any moisturizer(s) you guys can recommend for oily/combo skin? i've noticed my Olay moisturizer isnt really doing the job anymore and tends to just sit on top of my skin... also anything under $30 dollars would be AWESOME.
I would like a recommendation for some good oily/combo skin moisturizer too
I have oily/combo skin and was recommended Dermalogica Active Moist, which I love but it's definitely not under $30, at least not here in Australia...
Yes, you must! I've had terrible experiences with Biotherm moisturizers... They were so harsh they made my face sting.
Ugh, Biotherm. They put so much crap in their products.
I was thinking this morning that my skin has never been this blotchy before, I was using a different product and started on the Biotherm a few months ago. That could be why. I shall switch asap!
Now I'm using Korres wild rose cream.
AGREED! I am yet to use one of their products that doesn't make my skin burn, sting and dry out.
anybody use La Prarie Cellular Cream Platinum?
Me too! I am never switching this cream is divine
Yes, it is! I LOVE Korres.
^ Me too! I also love the matching rose masque, so creamy and doesn't get all hard and itchy like other masque's do.
Right now I am using Dermalogica's skin smoothing cream and its really really good - I have normal to dry skin that gets dehydrated and this cream really does the trick. However, I would have to say that my most favorite moisturizer was Caudalie's Premier Vendanges Cream. The cream smells sooo good, its sinks into the skin instantly, and it had a very calming effect as well. If I was ever a little red (I had a food allergy at the time) this cream would bring the redness down in less than a half hour. Also, I love that there are no chemicles in their line
what do you think about elizabeth arden's 8-hour-cream - i find it quite helpful every now and then especially when it's cold outside
I only use it when nothing else seems to work, because I don't like putting petrolatum on my skin. But it really, really helps with some skin irritations and extremely cracked lips, so I always have a tube around.
However, I've been using one lip balm from Lush for a month or so and my lips feel amazing and it repairs them very quickly, so no 8-hour-cream for my lips now
i really want to change my moisturizer... but i don't know to what
Now I'm using Clinique DDMG, I love it. It's very light, does a good job, it doesn't clog the pores (that's something that really matters to me) and I can use it before foundation. (If I'm broke, Garnier Total fresh for normal/combination works just as well.)
Neoderma Blue Blood Gel is also something I just can't live without, it works amazingly after facials, because it stimulate the healing and reduces the redness.
I have been using NARS Balancing Lotion (was bullied into buying this in NYC) and although I don't normally use skincare products from makeup-based brands, this is surprisingly good. It's light but moisturising, and does balance my skin throughout the day. I don't like the orangey-citrus smell though
