Everything Facial Moisturizers

I use Biotherm Biosensitive but I am hearing so many positive things about Nuxe, I think I'll try to get ahold of some to try!

is there any moisturizer(s) you guys can recommend for oily/combo skin? i've noticed my Olay moisturizer isnt really doing the job anymore and tends to just sit on top of my skin... also anything under $30 dollars would be AWESOME.

I have oily/combo skin and was recommended Dermalogica Active Moist, which I love but it's definitely not under $30, at least not here in Australia...

Yes, you must! I've had terrible experiences with Biotherm moisturizers... They were so harsh they made my face sting. :(

I was thinking this morning that my skin has never been this blotchy before, I was using a different product and started on the Biotherm a few months ago. That could be why. I shall switch asap! :yuk:

^ Me too! I also love the matching rose masque, so creamy and doesn't get all hard and itchy like other masque's do.

Right now I am using Dermalogica's skin smoothing cream and its really really good - I have normal to dry skin that gets dehydrated and this cream really does the trick. However, I would have to say that my most favorite moisturizer was Caudalie's Premier Vendanges Cream. The cream smells sooo good, its sinks into the skin instantly, and it had a very calming effect as well. If I was ever a little red (I had a food allergy at the time) this cream would bring the redness down in less than a half hour. Also, I love that there are no chemicles in their line

what do you think about elizabeth arden's 8-hour-cream - i find it quite helpful every now and then especially when it's cold outside

I only use it when nothing else seems to work, because I don't like putting petrolatum on my skin. But it really, really helps with some skin irritations and extremely cracked lips, so I always have a tube around.

However, I've been using one lip balm from Lush for a month or so and my lips feel amazing and it repairs them very quickly, so no 8-hour-cream for my lips now :)

Now I'm using Clinique DDMG, I love it. It's very light, does a good job, it doesn't clog the pores (that's something that really matters to me) and I can use it before foundation. (If I'm broke, Garnier Total fresh for normal/combination works just as well.:flower:)
Neoderma Blue Blood Gel is also something I just can't live without, it works amazingly after facials, because it stimulate the healing and reduces the redness.:woot:

I have been using NARS Balancing Lotion (was bullied into buying this in NYC) and although I don't normally use skincare products from makeup-based brands, this is surprisingly good. It's light but moisturising, and does balance my skin throughout the day. I don't like the orangey-citrus smell though :ninja:
