Eye Lash Growth

Latisse is like a zillion times better than anything else on that list. It's like comparing balenciaga with h&m!

I've also noticed my lashes falling out a bit more, I started using lipocils lash conditioner and it seemed to get better. Then I got lazy with the conditioner and rarley use it now but I dont notice the shedding anymore. I wonder if it's maybe just your initial lashes shedding and the new hairs are stronger.

Thanks. Maybe the Latisse is drying. I suspect so. I have some homemade lash conditioner that worked pretty well. It has castor oil , Silk Amino Acids and some other good things.

OOhhh, I have discovered the best (and cheapest!) conditioner ever: Lanolin! I use it on my cuticles when they get rough, and I thought I might as well try it on my lashes, so I did, overnight. In the morning, they seemed thicker, and people are commenting on the length.

You can get lanolin just about anywhere- supermarket, pharmacy (drug-store) etc. Its usually in a tube or pot, like a very thick moisturiser.

Ok, I am thinking of taking the plunge, there's a canadian website offering it for 120$. Is that the usual price? It says it is for 60 applications? Is that like the full format?

I only want to use this thing once in my life, cause the brown spots in the iris thing seems too risky. Is that enough, once in my life? Are the results supposed to be permanent? Or are you supposed to go back to using Latisse ever now and then?

You're eyelashes will go back to how they were before Latisse once you stop using it.

Im currently trying out the L'oreal renewal lash serum. Probably a waste of time but it was free so I might as well give it a go.

I've always had long lashes for being a guy, sometimes they grow so long and I have so many that about once a month I have one fall in my eye...and I have to gently fish it out. It's a little uncomfortable but after a while I'm used to it.

I don't know if anyone has heard about this... but supposedly extra virgin olive oil can help eye lash grow?

^ Heard of it before. I think it's a myth though, along with castor oil, petroleum jelly....

I think those things are great lash conditioners. Meaning that if you use them, they will help keep your lashes moisturized and prevent lash breakage and fallout. Which in turn will result in thicker lashes and as the lashes grow, they will break less which will give the appearance of longer lashes.

^ Oh I see. So it doesn't have a direct effect, more like for care and maintenance. Thanks!

I've been losing my eyelashes lately and I can't figure out why. I stopped rubbing my eyes and using mascara, but the problem still persists. It's been quite damaging to my self-esteem and I wonder if eyelash loss can be attributed to hormonal imbalances. Can anyone weigh in on this?

so.. carepost n latisse n other products.. if u stop using them ur length n thickness disappears??

^ Yes, if you stop using the product, eventually your eyelashes will return to normal. It does take a while, though.

Btw, I'm still on my first bottle of Latisse - it's lasted something like 6 months. I use it sparingly but everyday. I remember reading somewhere that at about 4 months some people have noticed eyelash thinning, but mine have stayed long the whole time thus far. I still love it!

OMG same thing's been happening to me. I feel you.

Some of it could be due to the winter. I believe our hair sheds more in the winter.

But I would go see a doctor. Maybe Latisse can help you. Also, try rubbing a little olive oil or castor oil on your lashes before bed. This will condition them.

I had the same thing, because I use alot of mascara.

Lately I've been using Beauty Society's Enormous Lash, it is quiet expensive and it's only been twelves days, but I have to say that I am seeing results, new growth in the bare spots and all. I will keep using and see how it goes!
