Speaking of, i wonder when will the LV ads leak already?! The description we got about the "Vintage Playboy" feel of the campaign is not exciting.

Myf for Newpenny and Elsa for Pennypull. i think these are just catalog, but i never understood why they tend to feature hotter names (Karmen, Heidi, Maryna...) than the mainline campaign. makes sense from the girls' perspective, i suppose, catalog equals money job that won't affect their credibility or whatever, but it seems a little backwards...

Oh,to me that fills me with hope actually!Vintage Playboy was very creative and beautiful.There is a "vintage Playboy " thread in the vintage magaine,definitely worth a look.

That's exactly it. Catalog usage is limited to a very small window of time and more importantly visibility compared to what the Pennyblack campaign itself would attract. You don't have to worry about damaging the image of the girl is she's doing a catalog that no one sees (comparatively speaking), as opposed to a campaign that's all over Milano.

Hfgl that is an excellent point, i guess these days i associate Playboy with everything, but beautiful or creative. so i forgot it used to have stunning images.
