F/W 2012 - 2013 : Best and worst campaigns

Vote for the five best campaigns of the season. You have to give five points to your favourite, four to your second favourite, three to your third favourite, two to your fourth favourite and one point to your fifth favourite.

This time around we will also have ‘The worst campaigns of the season’ section. Give five points to the very worst, four to the second-worst, three to the third-worst and so on. In this case, stick to major houses, as low-profile brands usually come up with unflattering images.

Aw no, are we keeping this thread entirely discussion/picture-free this season? I always enjoy hearing people's opinions on the season as a whole instead of just seeing their lists, especially when we're going to pick the "worst" ones, too?
I thought this season was actually pretty good in terms of campaigns. I'm disappointed we didn't get a YSL or Jil Sander campaign which are always among the strongest ones every season but I think instead we got many other surprisingly good campaigns. Akris was definitely by far my favorite campaign. Everything about it was perfect. I liked that in spite of the crazy Mert & Marcus domination we also got a few unusual photographer choices, such as Mark Brothwick for Missoni, Erwin Olaf for Bottega Veneta and Alasdair MCLellan for Proenza Schouler. I'm sad about the lack of major campaigns shot by Willy Vanderperre and I didn't think it was a very good season for Steven Meisel. I was definitely most surprised by the Marc Jacobs campaign. I've been sick of Teller's campaigns for the brand (or any brand) for a long time but he really nailed it with this campaign. The cast and the styling worked perfectly for his style of photography and I like how eerie and whimsical it turned out.
