Today I had a chance encounter with Fabiola Beracasa (V Mag, 2/07). You know what? She was on her phone when I approached her and despite being preoccupied with what was presumably her growing fashion consultation business, she still sliced a snippet of her time out for me to shoot her.

Her shoes by the way are non-replica, bona fide 1930's vintage oxfords (amazing). Muchas gracias Fabiola!

The Marni outfit is gorgeous. Love the pop of colour that the scarf adds.

And her candid outfit above is nice. Very her. I don't love the paperbag waist on her but the actual vintage oxfords are pretty cool.

i adore that boater on her - she's so darling!

Socialite-style seems either very contrived or just plain boring, but imo Fabiola seems to have a real joie de vivre - some kind of happy, free, spirit. You can see she has fun, but at the same time it's very uncontrived. Love her!
