I searched but couldn't find such a thread, so I hope I'm posting in the right forum.

I've decided to do some DIY styling and customize my own clothes but I'm no design student and am clueless as to the best places to go in London to buy fabrics. Any suggestions?:flower:

I think there are quite a few places in the East end around bricklane and that and if you are going for some high end fabrics there are a few places in soho and w1 that are quite good. It's a shame susie isn't around as I'm sure she'd know or Acid/sean would as well.....sorry I can't be of much help!

I second Megs suggestion about textile stores in Soho :flower:

yup, SOHO is quite good. they are very good in giving samples as well if you need. just mention you are a student ;)

they actually have a time limit now. some are till 12. some starts at half past 3....weird...O_o
