Aside from the odd anomaly like Mr Beckham (Get well soon David!!!) sport is generally anti-fashion...

...one execption is those dashing french rugby players down in Paris. Every single year they try to outdo themselves with those garish, daring oh-so-French playing shirts :

Some of them were designed by Kenzo Takada. Love, love, love them.

Rofl, I'll pass on the bubble gum pink & blue raspberry mix. I like incorporating sport with fashion, seeing as more designer labels have their sport-type advertisements nowadays.

I liked what Ralph Lauren did with the US Olympic team this past winter games. RL also has their rugby line which I like better than above.
Then there is of course Lacoste, which is mainly tennis inspired, Y-3 & Emporio Armani (esp the past two seasons).

i was watching basketball with friends....
(yes...ME...I was watching basketball)
and i decided which team was going to win based on the uniforms...
*turns out they were the underdogs...

and guess what?...they WON!!!...

so then there was another game...
and everyone was like---
OK- now let's see if you can do it again...
and i did...

and they WON too!!!...

the rugby uniform looks like a milkshake....not good.

Oddly, i cant wait to see what the uniforms for the soccer world cup are going to be this year...not that i ever paid any attention to that but since this year i had to design a uniform for that specific matter for Germany, it kinda put me in the mood for soccer.
