Fashion Cravings...

I really feel like my wardrobe is almost at the 'bottle neck' point, meaning I don't have an incredibly diverse or varied wardrobe as many stylish members here on TFS do, but for my pared down philosophy i pretty much have all the basics I need...just a few more of key items and i think i'll be set. However I do need some more white button down shirts...preferably with some kind of twist like Undercover's contrast-fabric collar w/ trompe l'oeil necklace shirt or Kris Van Assche's 'folded collar' shirt...it also wouldn't hurt to get another sweater or two, preferably v-necks in quality wool or cashmere.

Black Coat- IN a boutique up here, its above knee length wool, with a HUGE dramatic collar that is almost circular.

Don't need a whole new wardrobe, if you have boots and flats to go with them you should be cool
Also I don't think they look very good when paired with short tops
they're awsome for layering though

Cravings this week...

A few Paul Smith items at Neiman Marcus..
-black sportscoat w/ floral-print embroidery...
-green fedora...
-black & white zebra-print loafers...
-wool cap (which im DEFINITELY getting)

I WOULD buy the coat, fedora & loafers, but I dont think the cost justifies the items here @ NM..Plus my friend told me Paul Smith is cheaper at his NYC store...The loafers are kinda, well, gaudy for my tastes, but if I did buy them, I'd feel "challenged" to dress 'em up and come up w/ something more my style..Here's the link to the shoes & coat from Firstview...The coat Im craving has the same floral print as the pants in this pic..

First day of snow here and I have almost nothing warm, especially casual things I can wear to school, so right now on my list is:

Plain long sleeve shirts
a few pairs of uggs and other comfy warm boots
scarves
sweaters

I hate spending $$ on school clothes
