One of three designers showing in the Fashion East show this time. They are actually an identical twin from the Netherlands, with lots of talent! I love them. Some examples from the collection, all from www.style.com

It's nice, but some of it resembles proenza schouler a bit too much.

they have some way better stuff that I've seen. I saw their stuff for the first time in the Metro (free newspaper on London transport) of all places and they had some great cotton and knit pieces. I feel their shapes are lovely but the textiles are a bit off

i quite like this....
except for that shocking blue....

i'm also unsure about some of the 'shinier' fabrics....
but i love the shapes....

I always like their stuff^_^ . Thous dresses with the bird applique are totally Christian Wijnants S/S 2005, but I like them all the same.

mm, i really like it as well. i especially like the owl? applique because it has a moustache! i like the second dress in post one the best. but the shiny fabrics do not put me off at all. i like that they used bow ties untied, it's a pain to do them up!

didnt tsumori chisato do the owl thing before?

i quite like it appart from that electric blue stuff

I've used quite a few of their pieces in magazine shoots. It never looks so good in their Look Books, or photographed on the catwalk, but they are beautiful when you see it all on a rail.

Am I alone in loving the gorgeous blue satin?

I think they're playing a mind trick between an owl & 2 hummingbirds. I like tht gimmick.

Next to hit the ramp were Spijkers and Spijkers with a collection of precision cut garments in striking geometrical shapes. Demonstrating pattern cutting to boggle the brain, the fabric had been worked, origami like, into a series of angles and folds on little jackets and waistcoats.
