But Jourdan Dunn has been one of my fav models since she started,

^ I'm sorry but Joan, Ajack, & Melodie are some of thee biggest competition. I like Jourdan but there are other black models I like alil bit more. That is just my opinion.

Ajak and melodie....how come ajak have no major campaign. Melodies have d&g and no Haute Couture. Nyasha is the biggest competition with LV and Haute Couture. I think jourda, Joan and nyasha are the ones to watch, jourdan is getting back on her feet after her break and she proved it last runway season. Nyasha is upcoming lets see what she can bring this runway season.

But i agree with all comments of Ajak Deng, she's amazing.

You don't have to like her but you gotta give her props for what she achieved as a black model. Her runway and campaign work are stellar and she got estee Lauder. It sad to see some of the black models fading especially those that were successful 08/09 era. Only jourdan is working amazingly from the black girls at that time.

How many major campaigns has jourdan done beside burberry & topshop? You mst have not visited Ajack's thread because she's done more HC shows for big name designers then all those models combined, including Jourdan. She's only done a sprinkle of work since re-entering the fashion work. She is definitely Not the best of the best imo. I won't knock what she's accomplished but I dont believe she's better than any other black model. When I say biggest competition I meant in general, not only with other black models.

Everybody needs a reasons to hater on a person. I'm not one of those people, I may prefer someone else's look more, but my overall feeling is excitement for all black models in general & I wish them nothing but the best. With Joan, I feel she's come along way & has finally reaped her benefits. Attitude wise I haven't seen her act out & every clip I've seen her in she's possesses a more humble quality than most, which I like. She also is very smart. But to each his own. We can agree too disagree across the board if you like...

Jourdan booked about sixty something show one fashion week and the most Joan booked is fourty something. I like ajak Joan and jourdan, I post in their threads all the time but jourdan is way ahead of ajak.ajak is doing better than she have in the past but the other girls achievements trump hers over miles at a time and we can go on and on but the proof is in the pudding.

Lol your not reading my entire response. Jourdan had one solo vogue cover...but Naomi is still getting more campaigns & covers than anybody so I don't know why your trying so hard to prove An impossible point.
