LOVE her... Been loving her for 10 years. I have like 8 of her CDs... can't believe she's known internationally. She's currently a spokesperson for Celine. As of last year I think, she went to France to shoot some promo pictures. Anyway, she used to have pretty bad style but from the late 1990s and on she's been dressing really well

Faye Wong is probably one of the few Asian artists who can get away with wearing anything.
She does have class, IMHO more so than Sammi. Don't get me wrong- Sammi is gorgeous but i always felt she is more cutesy-pie sweet than Faye who is super classy...

She is a really talented singer. Can't say the same for her acting though, but hey she's so good looking that I suspect that she can get away with it though she can't emote well.

Just another Faye Wong fan..can't believe she is so well-known internationally.....

IMHO, I just find her acting a little stiff. But please don't get me wrong, she definitely has her own style.

So much so that a lot of young starlets wanna copy her but non even come close to the real thing (Faye).

No matter what she does, she always comes off oozing oodles of STYLE and CLASS.

Now, how many actresses can actually stake a claim to that? B)

anyhow to answer some questions -
the draped top with the feathered heel hat is supposedly by madeleine vionnet (sp?). faye's stylist, titi kwan, had it fastened at the shoulders before she lets it go before the start of the song (wandering red dancing shoes). so it actually flows down to the floor.

and yes i could go on forever talking about faye and fashion. afterall, ive been following her for the past decade or more. hah.

this may seem inappropriate but anyhow im 22/male from singapore. cheers. and carry on fashion-ing.

faye wong's self-titled album in 1997. head piece by erik halley. she also wears mcqueen's leather gloves, mcqueen's zipped at the knees trousers and yohji's cape for the same shoot. very chinois, gothic kabuki theme. personally my absolute favorite album art direction.

yes, i almost have all her albums. and in reference to style and art direction i guess Di~Dar, Exasperation and Wang Fei 97 are my absolute faves.

the butterfly imageries in di~dar (1995) and the reticence spilling into the photo shoot of exasperation. totally speechless!

What's also so interesting about Faye is that she succeeds in not letting the sometimes complex clothes wear her.
