The girls said their inspiration (or their imagining should we say) was Jen Brill (Terry Richardson's ex) meets a Pina Bausch dancer at a glamorous downtown gig.

The Felder twins have their territory marked out in the play of hard meets soft, chicks that rock it out with plenty 'tude. And they do it well.

We saw Prabal Gurung have a go at symmetrical skeletal prints meets harnesses (a couple of McQueenisms really) in New York but that didn't really convince. This is more on it.

With some of the shiny metalics, ie the skater skirts, I thought a bit too of the Jeremy Scott schtik. But Dani and Annete deliver in a more covetable, dare I say it, wearable, way. They've always rocked. I think this their best yet.

Oh the shiny embellishment that on these images at a casual glance might be taken for pailettes or jewels - no them's spikes. Sharp ones.

I see some Lanvin S/S 2011 with those inverted T-shape leather straps going down the torso.

What's the deal here, this is only half the collection... please refrain from posting if you're going to quit halfway through, it doesn't do justice to the designers whom people are judging by only seeing half their work.

I agree, HeatherAnne, I don't think the stills here really do justice to the collection and some of my favourite pieces weren't included, I would hate people to judge the collection on only what has been posted.

The leather choker harness pieces are reminiscent of Lanvin S/S 11, but I do realize that Felder Felder are known for their strappy leather accent pieces and I feel they put enough of their own spin on them. The tailoring looks better this season, but I'm bummed at how transparent every single fabric is. I mean, how unpractical is that and how unflattering would it cling on a girl without a model body? They've still got to work on perfecting their construction, but I think they have their identify of the darker/rocker aesthetic with beautiful interwoven fetish details perfected.

This is quite a substantial collection, they never usually produce this many looks. A little repetitive in some places but on the whole a really good effort.

Yes, I love the first two looks.

All the designs are very wearable and nice. Very impressed!
