So Pochahontas. I'm guessing it's pretty small... it's cute, with the right ensemble. :)

I really don't like fendi bags from the last few years - they all seem to be trying a bit hard

It's the type of odd, impractical thing I'd buy for a few dollars at a thrift store. I wouldn't pay Fendi prices for it.

I really love the Fendi bags for the new season. I have sooo many bags right now but if I were in the market for a day bag, I'd definitely go to Fendi. The first bag with the translucent leather is such a jewel. It's like nothing you've ever seen before. Quite literally! I mean, doesn't Fendi have a patent on translucent leather? Wow! Welcome to the future!

And the brown frame bag looks really cool, too. All of these new Fendis are just so. . . weird! And I love it. It's nice to see some accessories that leave the past in the past (Marc Jacobs ) and instead try to define the future in some way.

I agree with the whole idea of avate-gard design, but I don't think that means you should just throw out a classic. I know a lot of people think that Marc Jacobs bags are just a long-standing trend, but really he (his accesories designers anyway) has been doing the same basic thing for years now, and I think they do have longevity. So what exactly do you mean by that post?

No offense to you MJCouture or anyone who is a fan of the Marc Jacobs bags. I was just using the MJ collection as something that is retro and references the past rather than this Fendi collection here which is very much trying to pinpoint something as the future. The Fendi shapes are very new and very interesting, whereas the MJ bags are a little too retro for my taste. Again, no offense to you. :flower:

 haha...i can see the insect reference-maybe a beetle (scarab) or dragonfly...that's cool ...
    i actually like that too...

i agree with what chick said...it's so innovative and really unique...love that the hardware is a pinkish gold...i think it's a really beautiful evening bag... perfect finishing touch to the right outfit..

i could build a whole6-8 pg fashion story around this bag... :flower:

I like the first one, translucent leather looks really cool, but the colors don't thrill me, a little dull.
