I feel like Fendi's been showing the same collection for a while now. Nothing interesting, and I see a bit of that LV/Chloé style in some of the looks.
Also that Fila/Fendi logo was so cheap. They need to realize that these trends are fads.
What a glorious moment. Perfect collection. I love this sense of aristocracy mixed with a bit of irony and smart felling of market, I think that a lot of designers today want to do it but they fail most of the time, not here, this was very well executed. The boots are marvelous, hope that yellow one became a hit next season like the red ones from FW17.
i am a bit disappointed by this one , no normally adore fendi but this seems like one of their pre-collections turned into a show
The best show of the season so far!
Some looks do play out like a deja vu, but overall, Karl manages to keep the DNA of the brand alive without turning the collection into dullness.
With the exception of the logomania items, which imo are a misstep (thank God most of them are layered with scrumptious coats), everything just looks so luxurious. These are the kinds of clothing one would want to invest in.
On top of everything, this show is exactly what Milan used to stand for: great tailoring, which you haven't seen much of these days.
This was divine!! Their best collection in a string of stellar seasons! I love everything about it! The strict silhouettes, the amazing cuts, the fabulous materials, the hints of commerciality (without being tacky). Everything was on point and pure perfection! Brava!
Very directional and quite weird as usual with Fendi.
I like it a lot. It looks better in motion...
People are obsessed about the 80’s but I find it fun that he is doing a modern interpretation of the 40’s with a touch of 70’s.
The 3 looks before the finale are quite exceptional.
And also beautiful bags!
I can always count on Fendi when the FD season comes.
Amazing collection! Clean and elegant
Love how he turned the F into FILA...
This is chav-street wear deluxe. I like the concept of it and the use of fur is innovative as usual.
Mink can look a little cheap, and paired with sherling it makes one big ugly coat
I'm really quite against fur, but as is often the case with Fendi, I can't deny the beauty of their F/W RTW shows. So many excellent looks here; love KL's take on the bold-shouldered trend, feels very fresh.
I like this collection, nothing to say.
I have been more impressed with previous Fendi shows but this is absolutely fine. Surprisingly, I like it most when it gets relaxed - the mink coat worn over a Fendi (or is it Filandi?) sweater on Kaia, that gorgeous tweed blazer paired with a yellow turtleneck sweater and matching crocodile cowboy boots, the excessive little fur ensemble on Manuela. You can tell Karl and Silvia have fun making it.
The most beautiful collection in Milan this season so far.
I love everything about it. So chic, expensive, wearable, luxurious and tasteful.
A Fendi x Fila collab? Perfect. Another opportunity for a basic sportswear brand to sell their rags at astronomical prices.
^ yeah, a part of me is also kind of thinking that. But I think it makes Fendi look a little bit modern and appealing for younger people. Perhaps 'approachable' is the word?
