Fendi Spy Bag

Yeah, it probably is a good thing. ;) By the way, I found this on eBay last night...I think positano mentioned this bag a few postings ago.

Holy cow that bag is so ugly. Is it authentic????

^I don't like that bag at all

And yes, personalshoppers sells authentic bags.

In other news, I got a Spy for my b~day this week. Woot! Now I'll need to decide if I still want a hobo or a satchel.

edit: Do any of you guys worry that the pouch in the front is going to open by itself? It would be a perfect place to keep a cc and some cash, but I can't seem to make myself put it there. I guess I'm afraid it's going to end up on the pavement without me noticing :ninja:

I went with my parents to a men's clothing store today, to pick up some underwear for my grandfather who's in the hospital, and they had isles with underwear hanging on little hangers. Well, somehow one of them got stuck in the leather loop thingy on the front of my mom's Spy, and she was walking around with a pair of boxers hanging off her bag :ninja:
She probably would never have noticed if I hadn't told her. Have anyone else been unknowingly turned into a shoplifter by their Spy?

That monogram Spy from personalshoppers looks so cheap and tacky. I can't see anyone pulling it off!

Keya, your story is funny. :) And congrats on your Spy and happy birthday! What color Spy did you get?

Happy Birthday Key and congrats on getting a Spy for your bday!!  Which color did you get? As for getting a hobo or a satchel, I would choose satchel because the color will not rub away as easily as the hobo. My color on my petrol hobo keeps rubbing off on the side that faces my body.

I used my Spy for the first time yesterday :D and kept my mobile and iPod nano in there. I wasn't worried at all that it was going to open.

That's a pretty funny story Keya. ;)

Firstyly, congrats on your Spy Keya!

I put my cell and lip balm into the flp thingy last week and had the beg resting on my shoulder. Halfway while I was shopping, the flap opened and its contents scattered on the floor. But then again, I may not have fastened the clasp tight enough.

If you put the contents all the way down into the pocket, wouldn't it not fall out even if it does open?

I think the Spy is a bit too big for me, I get pain in my shoulders from carrying it for a few hours when Im out shopping. :(

Aww :(

Maybe carry it in your hard or on your arm? Is it the size or what you put in it?

I don't really know.. I carry it on my arm and it really is heavy.

I guess my boyfriend was right at the end, it is a bit too big of a bag for me, I just carry the usual stuff as well, lipgloss, wallet, camera, ipod, mobile.

Has anyone else noticed this?

I haven't had the problem, I wonder why it's so painful.. I didn't think the size but more so the weight.

i agree that it's a big bag and if you only carry those things, they will get lost inside the roomy interior. but on the other hand, you don't want to stuff it full -- it looks ugly and will stretch the leather. the thing i like about big bags is even if i don't need all that room, i have it in case i buy a magazine, want to carry a bottle of water, etc. despite the size, it's the lightest bag i own. you must not own any of the paddington bags pucci -- now those are truly heavy!

Thank you for the warning, sweetie. ;) The paddy's aren't really 'me' at all.. so no problem there. :D

My wallet is happy!

Maybe I just have a back problem?..like that would be a relief!:ninja:

Did anyone of you see the auction i was in questioning at the Chanel thread? You girls are so knowledgable, help me out?:flower::heart:

I saw the monogram Spy at Bloomingdales last night and it did seem like a strange material for the Spy style... sort of a coated fabric a little bit plastic or vinyl feel to it, not a particularly good choice in the Spy. The colors were not that nice in my opinion and it did surprise me as I hadn't seen a picture before eying it in the case. They also had a black & a natural spy (is that the same as the honey? it looked the same to me) and a natural Satchel.

Been so busy at work, it's nice for the weekend to come around and get into tfs. I have just spent the whole morning catching up on the messages.

Anyway, I think the Spy which Personalshoppers is selling is so so yucky! If I didn't know better, I would think it's a fake. Well, I guess if there are people who like the Murakami, or the new perforated LV range, will be able to like this.

And I agree with Lilygirl that although I don't start out carrying lots of things in my bag, I like the option of being able to put things into my bags along the course of my outings.

When I used my spy yesterday (for the first time, whoo hoo!), I did have a bit of shoulder pain, but only because I was carrying lots in it from shopping. Before shoppping I didn't have any problems.

for some reason i find the spy not as easy to carry as the paddy. it's lighter than the paddy, but i feel like the weight distribution is somehow better on the paddy. small complaint, tho. the spy's still my absolute fave.

I agree. if I carry all day long...like on my last vaca to nyc a few weeks ago..it does get heavy and hurts a little section on my shoulder....

^ I know what you mean! I don't even carry much in my Spy. It doesn't really hurt. ..It's more of an annoying ache.
