kip, what i do is apply the AG care lotion with my fingers. and i apply a lot of it. i let it soak for a few hours to air dry (i just let it hang off the handles of my stationary bike). i repeat this process until it's the softness i want. usually 3 times is good enough. then if i want it shiny and the bag isn't white or ivory, i spray it w/ the rain repellant (do this outside if you have kids).

I think the tulle is from past season. Mmmm it's amazing, pics posted! I love both the violet and the lilac-ish one, though I think the violet is more striking and more me! I have no IDEA where to find one though

Yeah the petrol one really didn't grab my attention, but the GREEN one is just amazing.. contrasting handles!! I think it's a past season colour too, the pic of it below was stolen from one of the members on this forum (I hope you don't mind! It's so pretty )

Oh and the protrusions on the handles are fine I think! It's just woven leather and I don't think they snag badly. Though I can't say for sure... my mini can only be mid arm/ hand carried.. the handles aren't long enough to fit over the shoulder like the big spy. Go forth and fondle Sue! Hahahaha.

Once again.. if anyone know where I can find a violet/ lilac tulle, please please let me know.. and also how much it is?

the pic of the violet couture spy is my spy..i def think its more wearable then the other and more unique...as the grey one has been featured in magazines..and ive yet to see someone with the same spy as i have expect for mischa barton (where i first saw it)..it costed around 3300 euros...i got it from fendi paris i dont know if they will take orders on it since its from the fall05 collection n my sister wanted one and they said they cant but i think u should call milan or rome and see...

got my baby spy bowler there. just got it last week and i love it. it's real. the price is same and sometimes more expensive than the department store, but they have stuff when stores sell out. i have pics on my blog about it under "Baby Spy." There's no tax to the US and shipping with express is very fast. I don't know why they say Last one on some of their items when it is not their last one.

Of course, I ordered a bag and sent it back and they are deducting a 15% restocking fee and giving me a hard time about it. The Browns website is awesome! If the site claims the bag is authentic and it isn't, I wouldn't pay a dime. I'd merely tell them that what they are doing is called fraud, and that unless they issue a full refund I intend to report them to not only the fashion houses of all the brands they are counterfiting, but also to the international anticounterfeiting coalition (ACC) (the following info is taken from Greendrv's page, I hope you don't mind

If you have inadvertantly purchased a fake bag when the seller advertised it was authentic, there is a phone number you can call to report fakes: 1-866-NOTFAKE. This hotline is for the international anticounterfeiting coalition (ACC) in order to report manufacturers, sellers and distributors of fake designer bags. The source of this number comes from a Harper's Bazzar article in the January 2005 issue. It is a crime to manufacture and/or sell fake designer bags. Even if the seller offers money back, I would still report them to the ACC.

Does anyone have the price on the leather Spy in Europe?

I bought the dk blue version of the standard lambskin in Rome in Feb. and it was APPROX. (I am very bad with remembering prices-- I think for my own sanity) $1700+ and I did do the tax back so I think it ended up being $1500++ or so.

When I came back and saw the price on nm.com as $2075 I was SHOCKED! SHOCKED! No, not really but I was a teeny bit surprised.

Wrt that Bone/camel spy, I saw a pic where Gwen Steffani was using one.. I saved it somewhere, lemme see.. Ok, here it is. Thanks, I will definitley do that and use it as leverage to get a full refund.

Thanks for the guidance truffles. AG sounds a lot more friendly than my leather lotions - they smell so strong despite their mild milky appearance, the last thing I want to do is put it on my hands! I did end up spraying my bags but only one layer, as mine is the white spy. I love carrying it!
