I agree, the palazzo is seems like they spent no time at all trying to design it... it looks like something you should put a bottle of wine in to give as a hostess gift.

I was also going to buy that bag, but was not interested in paying so much more, and it didn't seem like anyone else was either, I was also somewhat suspicious because he had already sold a petrol spy, using the same pictures, and the buyer had not left any feedback, so I figured there must be something wrong with the bag. I wrote to him and he said that he had sold another one, and I would get the bag in the picture, but how could I get the one in the picture if he apparently used the same pic for his other auction? Someone did not get the bag in the picture. Ebay is a scary place, particularly to buy something for $2500. Thats why I just sucked it up and got a petrol hobo, and I am profoundly happy with it, and some day I'll get another bag I will love as much as I would have loved the petrol spy...

I hang out at purseblog.com also and the lady that bought it from him just received it and posted pics. He apparantly ended the listing early for her and let her pay over time or something which may explain why no feedback. I just got mine from katsluxury on ebay and I paid $1950 shipping included. Just got it this weekend as my birthday present to me. Here it is!!!

no, other colors are also having the fading problem too. I've seen pics of petrols, green, and camel spys with fade and wear marks, especially wear the flap rubs against the front of the bag.

I reported it to ebay, but I bet they wont do anything about it. Maybe if enough people reports it, but I wouldn't hold my breath. What bugs me is that ebay doesn't give you a message field where you can explain how you know that an item is fake or that a listing is bogus. If I could've put down an item number or the name of the user the listing was stolen from, I'm sure it would be a much bigger chance that the listing was actually taken down. I would be very veary of buying $2000+ items off ebay as well

I know! I even sent the original seller a message letting him/her know that his/her pics were stolen, but still nothing.

I love love love it!!!! I'm a Gucci and Chanel gal and have been trying to broaden my horizons in other brands. Thanks to everyone on the board for the PhD you gave me over the last few months as I have learned about Fendi Spy bags and how to spot an authentic out of all the fakes. Browsing the pics and discussions in this thread made me fall in love with them (albeit late in the game) and since the one I fell for was no longer being sold...I feel fortunate to have found the only color I really love (2nd to the honey). Kudos to Guccigal for your compilation of photos...it was really helpful in deciding on what style and color.
