guccigal- which bloomies? I really prefer the cognac but the choco is so nice too!

sorry, it's sooo fake! The dead giveaway is that the leather/zucca spys should have tortuga handles (embossed fake tortoiseshell), not woven leather!!! :ninja: On top of that, are the following errors:
1) The leather/zucca spys are made with chocolate leather not cognac.
2) The stitching on the underside of the spy compartment handle is uneven and poor quality.
3) The font on the authenticity card is wrong.
4) The serial number on the hologram tag is the wrong format (no letters).
5) The zucca looks fake too (wrong sheen and drape).
6) And finally, the leather is the wrong texture and wrong grain.

My honey spy arrived just before and I am not happy with it. The leather is marked across the front flap and I just don't feel o.k with keeping it knowing how much I paid for it and the fact that it will bug me. It's a stupid little thing to get bothered about I know, but it's a big deal to me. It is not the natural markings of the leather either, it is actual 'marks.' I have rang Fendi and told them I want an exchange. I am sending it back tommorow. :shock: I'm sick of this hassle as I hate sending stuff back. Now it's all the messing about to see if the next one they send will be alright.

I rang Fendi this afternoon just to enquire about the delivery and I had a really rude SA who was so unhelpful. I only wanted to know was there any way I could track the bag via the courier service they used and she was really horrid and just wouldn't give me an answer. In the end she called me back to say that my bag would be here today, which I already knew and that she has no way at all of being able to tell me any details of how to track my bag.

Oh, how I wish my beloved net-a-porter sold them .Then I know I would get decent customer service!

Not only is all the things you mentioned wrong, there is also no way a new Fendi Spy would be only $875.00. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is :flower:
 
littlebird, I'm sooo sorry to hear about your disappointment with your honey spy! I went through a handbag funk back in October where all the bags I got were lemons... I guess it was just bad karma. Definitely return it! You should be 100% satisfied.

Exactly! I was thinking before that when I rang fendi to tell them I would be returning it, there attitude was more of 'I think after the weekend you will want to keep it, but if you insist then its our policy that you can return it' the SA also said that I wont get a better spy than the one I have now. :shock: All I can say to that is it better not be true! All I want is bag without any marks. For the price the spies cost, it isn't a big thing to expect is it?! Overall I am not impressed with the customer service at Fendi. Margaret who works there is fine, but the 3 different others I have spoken to were very rude.

I'm getting another honey one but I would love a cherry or petrol one also!:p

I just hope I dont have this hassle when my Chloe betty arrives in a month or so.........:doh:
 
^That sucks. Better luck with your next honey Spy. Is there any way you can take a picture of the marks that bother you? Is it an imprint in the leather? I'm not sure I know what it is you mean, but if there's a flaw on the bag of course you should return it! For the price of a Spy, expect nothing other than perfection.^_^
 
I did try to take photos, but with my rubbish camera they just come up blurry. You need to see it in person to be able to spot the marks!
Also, the front handles are off. One is a bit higher than the other and this means that as it slouches to the side, one side looks ,ore 'slouchier' than the other.
These things sound like silly things I know, but as soon as I seen it I knew it did not look right. I am keeping everything crossed that this replacement bag will be perfect. I dont think I can handle the stress of having to deal with speaking to one of the snotty SA'S!

I like cognac more... a bit more contrast than the choco!!! :p
 
^I prefer the cognac too, only problem is the color fading issues.
