For the longest time I was NOT a fan of SPY bag but ended up with THREE in the last two months!!! You def. have to see this bag in person to appreciate it's beauty!!! Here are some pics of my babies!!! Just wanted to share.

ehm...well, it's shoebaloo.nl actually, and yes, they sell authentic stuff, I've bought prada, chloe and other bags from them. How about the rought/hard handles? is that a problem? Are they supposed to be this stiff?

I have 3 spy bags and although the handles are tough, they are not stiff. You can actually bend them together with a little force. I suggest you bring your spy to a Fendi to have them authenticated.

I decided to go with the colors that I didn't have in my bag collection (And I LOVE my bags to have that "in your face" look). Fendi was a HUGE change for me as well (I've been collecting LV for the last ten years).

FYI: Fortuny SPY is still available in Toronto, Canada (I have yet to see ANYONE with a SPY bag in the streets of Toronto).

Well, I can bend mine, but they're tough indeed! I just mean they feel rough, and kind of hurt when on my shoulder. I bought it at a famous store, with lots of celebrity clients, so it would be like questioning saks fifth avenue or harrod's...I was just wondering if anyone has the same problem with the handles...

My mom loves these bags and she's right now shopping in Stockholm & is still spending few days there - does anyone know if there's any boutiques selling Fendi bags (especially spys) in Stockholm?

Ok, so I've bought a black fendi spy, at a reputable store (shoebaloo in Amsterdam), for 1400 euros, and I'd like to know if the serial number is right.I can't post any pics since I don't have digital camera. I also know that I shouldn't be questioning authenticity, since this store has many famous clients and I've bought authentic chloé, prada and alexander mcqueen there before. It's just that I am a little worried, especially after I've had to work for 2 months to get this amount of money. I'll be in Itlay in 5 weeks, and planned to buy the bag there, but Fendi in Rome told me the spies have all sold out when I called them. This oppurtunity was just too good to be true, so I bought it in Amsterdam.

I noticed that the number on the card doesn't quite match the one on the leather flap inside the bag. Can anyone please let me know if this is normal?

The card reads: BORSA SPY NAPPA NUVOLATA/NERO/ORO/PALLADIO
The number on the card is 8BR511 00RQ1 F0GK6
And the one inside the bag is 2415-8BR511-RQ1-069
The hologram is marked AF56692

Please help!!!

gga, you can be 100% sure reg. authenticity with shoebaloo. they only sell authentic stuff, 200%.

I must admit that my bag does not include the identity card......so I will call them reg. this. in the bag were 2 other cards.

Maxima- There were no cards in my bag! I only got the one I scanned, and a yellow enveloppe with a carboard card in it stating 'nappa'. Besides this and the dustbag, nothing! I will to back to the store too, since I need all the cards! Wich cards did you get then?

considering authenticity, I am starting to believe it is authentic now, I just freaked out a bit since it is a lot of money. Thankx for reassuring me!

Here's the other card I got with my black spy at shoebaloo-so just this one (the one that says 'nappa' was inside the enveloppe stamped 'fendi') and the one I posted above. Please let me know which you got, so I can ask the sa at shoebaloo.

Hi GGA that is good to hear that you also only had 2 yellow cards and the dustbag. No other cards. but authenticity i know is 100% that is what i know for sure!! I am so in love with the bag! just staring at it all the time! i used to be a big fan of chloe-bags but since the fendi spy this has changed! tha bag is also very practical. gga, are you going to call them tomorrow (koopzondag)?

I have 2 yellow cardsne saying 'nappa" and one saying "tortuga calf".

Maxima-I'm currently uploading the scans I've just made of the card I got, but they seem to be too big.

I got:
1: the card I scanned above
2: a yellow enveloppe with fendi written in the right corner above
3: inside the enveloppe was a folded yellow carboard card with 'nappa' written on it

Did you see the one I posted above? You're supposed to have that one too! And it should to some extend match the numbers inside your bag (not quite though, please read my post above).

Ow, and regarding calling them, I work for a bank (just a holiday job to finance my bag addiction) at the Herengracht, so I'm quite close to Shoebaloo in the Leidse Straat. I guess I'll just pop over there on monday, and let them figure it out. I already ran like crazy to the Cornelis Schuit Shoebaloo last tuesday, to get the bag, and that wasn't very pleasant in the heath! So let me know what you're going to do, perhaps we can even go together!
