I have a cognac one as well ... I'd be very interested to see how it works out. I usually just wipe mine down with diaper wipes and massage in a little apple care conditioner when it looks dry. How are you planning to get it cleaned?

I have all the applegarde, but I'm thinking about trying a professional leather repair/cleaner.

It looks like something you'd take skiing (although I can imagine that a handbag would be extremely impractical when doing so )


I still carry my Spy, btw! I can't remember the last time I carried a bag for this long, I really love how I can fit everything into it. Whenever I try to switch to a smaller bag I feel bad about all the stuff that wont fit and go back to carrying my Spy. Never being able to find my phone or wallet used to drive me crazy, but now I make sure I always put things like that in one of the corners of the bag so that I know where to find them. I feel a bit dull for always carrying the same bag, but I really do love my Spy

The handle to my spy fell off, so I called NM to ask about repair. The SA said I could sent my spy and they'd send it to be repaired, and have the leather refurbished.

Would anyone know where I would be able to find a black baby spy? I have tried saks, nm, bgoodman, barneys and fendi. Any other ideas?

I've talked to Fendi Rome. The told that they are going to have red and also green in October.

For $2K I expect quality, but I'm not naive enough to expect perfection.

The Spy satchel? They have it at the Bloomingdales at Riverside Square Mall, they had black around this time last week.

tiger1- i saw the same bag you saw but in red- its by monclear(sp?) specially made for fendi- the red was gorgeous actually- very cute- if i didnt have 3 red bags and 4 spy bags i would have bought it- it was the last one- in colette,paris. I recommend it to ppl- its unique and perfect for winter and rain- and teh red is soo bright a perfect

They made the same in green also.
The colors are perfect but it looked little bit cheap to me from the pictures that I've seen.
What do you think UniqueFashionista?
Would you prefer the leather or the monclear if you had one choice?

well- if you dont have a leather spy- i would go for leather- but if you already have a leather one, this is perfect- its a fun bag- and it didnt look cheap when i tried it on- its soo much fun- plus you wont c alot of it- its special IMO
