You could wear it in the summer, but it probably depends on the outfit cuz it could appear a little severe. It's not like black velvet, which I wouldn't wear in the summer.

I finally succumbed to the lure of the spy and managed to purchase a lovely chocolate spy. To say I am in love is a massive understatement, the leather is just so gorgeous, that I just know this will not be my only one

lol. After purchasing the gorgeous choco a few weeks ago, I have lucked out again, and have got a gorgeous honey one too. The leather on this one too is also so lovely and soft and pebbly, I am seriously becoming addicted

this may be a bit of a biased forum- but is the spy still a covetable bag?- i need a birthday gift for my 17 year old sister ( she wants hermes but teenage hermes is soo wrong).

Lots of high fashion bags that would appeal. I would definitely say that the spy is still covetable, but what does she want to use the bag for, what will she be carrying?

How do you make the spy "poofy"? I've seen some that are like little bubbles and some that look flat and boring. Does it depend on the leather, if the bag is stuffed to the brim or what?

It doesnt seem to still be an "it" but I think thats actually better, not as many fakes around. I definatly think it's covetable and a great bag. I'm around your sisters age, I got mine in fall 05 and it's still in my regular rotation. I think it's a classic bag and wont look dated for a long time.

Sheherezade, the bag seems to poof up with just a little bit of stuff inside it when you carry. Mine really only goes flat when it's sitting down.

chloe-Babe, your bag so is soo gorgeous! The color and the leather look so rich. It really makes me want another.
