Fendi Spy Bag

That snakeskin spy doesn't look any worse than alot of the other weird spybags they've made (i.e. velvet, squirrel)....I rather like it. I dont $5000 like it though.

eta: I cant believe SD has the white spy bag available, for $2000 flat. Pretty.

Ugh.. I had to go shopping for the new line at work... and i know I saw a seersucker or striped or whatever spy and a white spy... I think it was at Saks (in NYC) ... all of the stores blurred into one after the day was over.

The texture on the white one that I saw was quite nice... if anyone's interested.

My goodness. Is it just me or is the python spy so very Versace? Or maybe just so very Donatella.

Python (and croc for that matter) are not for everything. I see no need for a python spy when the leather versions are already so lovely and textured. Besides that monstrosity damn near blinded me. I do believe I may just sue Fendi for emotional distress.

Fendi Spy in Stripped pattern

Hi, Dear Spy fans:

I have been lurking for a while and have read through every post in this Spy thread. I got a Fendi Spy in Honey and a Spy in stripped denim. Now I am in a dilemma that which one to keep cause I have done way too many damages this season--got Chanel grey reissue 227, got Dior double flap, got LV Mizi. Need to stop( but will never stop:flower: ). So please help me make the choice cause I need 2nd opinion.

cheers
Chloe

Hi, IMO return the denim stripe. It's yukky anyway and will be hard to clean if you get it dirty. Besides, if you feel bad returning it after you do, they always pop up on eluxury anyway so it will be easy to replace.

Also you can use the honey all year. The denim stripe IMO is just a 2 season bag. Wouldn't invest a few thousand in a 2 season bag if it didn't make me roll over and die. I hate those stripes, reminds me of those railroad jeans that was around a few years ago.

If you HAVE to return one, I would say return the denim one. The honey one is essentially a timeless color and the leather makes it much more useful then the denim one which will probably get dirtier much easier. Hoever, if you LOVE the denim one, I would say keep it and then re-buy the honey when you get a chance at a later time.

I'm with everyone about returning the denim :)

Is there any realistic chance that the white may hold up nicley or is it pretty much hopeless? Does anyone have a white?

I don't have a white, but I took a good look at one in the FENDI in BH and it seemed that it would hold up pretty well. I am really really rough on my bags at it seems to me that I think that even I would be ok with the white.

I don't think the white leather would be hard to keep clean either. The one with the flowers on the other hand might be a lot harder. Because of all the crevices in between the flowers. I never really had a dirt problem with an white leather bags in general and I'm very. very hard on my bags. With me it's always pen marks and they are totally impossible to clean off light and white colored leather. I always try and find a mint condition used white bag, while can still be expensive I'm not totally sick when a pen mark gets on it.

From what I have read from other posts, they are very high quailty fakes. I could be wrong though so wait for someone else to post. But I wouldn't buy till you do.
