Ferrari F/W 2022.23 Milan

This collection looks so dated and have no identity whatsoever.

I really want to know what do Ferrari want to achieve with this line? This doesn't scream luxurious or desirable for the Ferrari clients. If they want these kind of clothes they can easily buy it at Phillip Plein or Dsquared2.

This whole is such a gigantic waste of money and time. Are they even really producing these clothes? Is any anyone buying it? Actually, do people even know about it?

Exor, the parent company, is the holding company of the Agnelli/Elkann family. They are trying very hard to create an Italian luxury conglomerate like LVMH and Kering are. Ginevra Elkann had to resign from the Kering board because of that.
Last year Exor spend 541 m€ to get 24% of Louboutin shoes and are currently approaching all the other independant Italian families. They failed with Etro (which went with LVMH) but rumors are they are going very hard after the Armanis, Ferragamos, Pradas, etc...
In the meantime, they are launching a Ferrari RTW.

The cars production from year to another will more tough and it is a very expensive market. Moreover, supply are limited, but they have recognizable brand, which is valuable. Thanks to this they can sold a lot of different items from various category and have huge profit. The high fashion brand is one of element this strategy. The problem is a designer is too literaly with interpretation brand - car racing. As if he focused on Ferrari = Italian luxury and show glamour clothes with small car racing accessories was much better. JPG is only one which could do it something like that.
