Yeah it's kinda random, but for some reason I love film scores. My favorites are from the neverending story and mulholland drive:heart: . Does anyone else have any favorites?

The Matrix Soundtrack by Juno Reactor: Mona Lisa Overdrive is pretty good,
Opening score to Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy (or was it a Space Odyssey?): Strauss - Also sprach Zarathustra (aka. Thus Spake Zarathustra) pretty good, too,
Dancer in the Dark with Björk is also one of my favourite.

Generally I like John Williams, Danny Elfman and not to forget Vangelis, esp. for Blade Runner ... most scores they compose do a good job of creating atmosphere.

it's not random - film scores are amazing! i love amelie, swing kids, vincent gallo's film scores, i love a lot of david lynch film scores (angelo [SIZE=-1]badalamenti - he also did the secretary soundtrack) and the television show carnivale has an amazing score.

thanks for the topic!

I like a lot of Nino Rota scores, like the godfather and Romeo and Juliet.

Also Disney!!! Especially the early classics by Oliver Wallace, the choir work is just wonderful.

I like John Williams too, he really knows how to support a scene with music.

I really like Nino Rota's score for Fellini's films and The Godfather as well as Bernard Herrmann's scores for Hitchcock. There are so many film scpres that I love but some of my recent favourites inlcude: Amelie, Far from Heaven and Atonement.

Here are some of my favorites!
-Georges Delerue for Contempt/Le Mépris and also for Confidentially Yours/Vivement Dimanche!
-Shigeru Umebayashi for 2046
-Joe Hisaishi for various Studio Ghibli animated movies
-Krzysztof Komeda for Rosemary's Baby
-Yann Tiersen for Amélie

Some of my most favorite film scores include...

Tim Burton "Sleepy Hollow"
Dario Marianelli "Atonement"
Lesley Barber "Mansfield Park"
Alexandre Desplat "Girl With a Pearl Earring"
Clint Mansell "The Fountain"
Michael Nyman "The Piano"
Thomas Newman "Lemony Snicket's: A Serious of Unfortunate Events"
