I thought of starting a thread focused specifically on the ornamental side of fashion and design in general, as it tends to be overlooked sometimes and in my very personal opinion, it holds the most precious surprises and often draws the line between a basic item and a true work of art..

my suggestion here is that we should preferably stick to detail images so the construction is more evident to the eye. and of course, feel free to post everything from embroidery, embellishment, textures, materials, etc.. whatever's been crafted to serve an aesthetic.. if that makes sense.. otherwise accidents will kick the thread out of this section.

really lovely thread mullet!!

such a great idea.. we seem to talk a lot about how fashion and art collide and whether fashion can be considered art and it's nice to see examples or the detail and artistry that goes into constructing certain pieces..
