As Fernando Torres beams with pride it is clear that becoming a dad is better than scoring any goal.
The Liverpool striker and his wife Olalla looked delighted as they showed off their first child outside the Policlinico hospital in Galicia, Spain.
The baby girl named Nora was delivered on Wednesday weighing a bouncing 8lb 4oz.

The newly wed couple have been an item for eight years and lived together in Madrid before moving to the UK.
They were married in a private ceremony with just two guests at the end of May in the local town hall in El Escoril, a suburb north of Madrid.
Torres, 25, has become one of the world's greatest strikers since signing for Liverpool for £20million from Atletico Madrid, in July 2007.
