This Italian Vogue with all those Valentino and Versace advertorials was one of the best Italian Vogue issues of all times!!! I am so happy to have it...has anyone posted the other Valentino spread with all the models together? Frankie, Gisele, Carmen, Maggie, Natalia...

^^I'm very happy to have it too, I still look through it from time to time, the cover being the mannequins in Atelier Versace always intrigued me, I wish we could have seen the clothes and Haute Couture of 1998 on real girls instead of mannequins, because the set was so fun with the champagne bottles and different poses, so it sounds like I sort of like it doesnt it? Anyway I've got it within reach on my shelf.

NorthernStar HAS scanned the other ed with Carmen, Frankie, Maggie, Erin, Natalia, Gisele, Kirsty, etc..

Aww her hair was black, so dark! I love it more how it is now, natural coppery brown. I loved that YSL show, and I'm assuming you updated Esther's thread with photos from it too. I have a Collezioni magazine with this collection in it I have always wanted to scan and share.

God please let her make this huge comeback the entire fashion world needs!! I cant stand all those dumb models. She is only one of the greats left thats still kind of active and could make a great return. Get on those NY & Paris runways & blow them all away, like you know you can, effordlesly! Plus US Vogue needs her on the cover. xxx

i love her, but i am afraid what you wish for will never happen! She had a very long career already and I am sure she will not make a comeback, maybe sporadic appearences, but nothing more...

I wish she'd make a comeback too, whether that be getting a campaign or doing a few shows next season, or just getting an ed here and there...love her so much.

I wish we had more candids of her since she does live in L.A. with Flea, and unfortunately no site dedicated towards her work online, I have looked.

Hmm, I never thought to compare Frankie to Angela. But, I totally agree. I wish I could express more on my opinion, but I'm not all that knowledgeable about Angela's work resume. I do know that she manages to dish out the same amount of work -if not more- after starting more than, what, 15 years ago?

About 14 years. For me Angela first appeared in 1996 or 1997. So 13 or 14. And Frankie appeared about 1997, 1998. .

Frankie started modeling around 1990. Both Angela and Frankie had busy careers, but Angela's career remain busy while Frankie kinda disappears from time to time.
I also thought Frankie appeared around 1997,98 alongside Carmen,Gisele and the rest of the models of that time, but then I discovered her early work, which dated 1992,93, but then i found a pic with her and Helmut Lang from 1990, which means she started at around that time. Models always start at least 2 or 3 years before they become recognized faces...the models of today are much happier, cause they can become stars the first season they appear.
Frankie had longer career than Angela, but Angela somehow manages to keep up.
I guess Frankie has many other priorities in her life.
