I agree Maybe the gesture is used very loosely nowadays but still that's something I wouldn't do when there are cameras around. That's just very immature, which just emphasizes the rumours about her being rude and childish.

being 17, near to her age, i know that sometimes in pictures, especially when someone catches me unexpectedly, i just flip the finger for the hell of it, jokingly of course
i don't believe it should really be viewed so disapprovingly, unless it would have been made with negative intent
which in this case, it wasn't
and also keep her age in mind, she's still maturing right soooo whatever, let loose a little guys, it happens to the best of us
