Frida Gustavsson

^^This ed is incredible. Makes me want to see more high fashion work from Frida. She's so amazing!

Why do I have a feeling that she's based in LA? Does anyone know where she lives? In Sweden, NY or LA?

She's moved in LA at the beginning of March. From her mother agency's instagram:

Farewell hugs with Frida who's leaving us for La La Land. See you in a few months!

Bridal Beauty – Chinese luxury jeweler Chow Sang Sang has tapped Frida Gustvasson for its 2014 bridal campaign. The Swedish model has appeared in shoots for the brand dating back to 2010. In these advertisements, Frida poses in a wedding gown looking stunning in white with sparkling jewelry and a traditional veil as the perfect bridal accessories. For more Frida, see her in a tropical themed shoot for C Magazine photographed by Hilary Walsh.

I think she moved to LA because of her studies. At least that's what I read a couple of months ago.

Summer Solstice Style: Frida Gustavsson Models the Perfect Swedish Floral Crown By Laird Borrelli

Swedes, who are light-deprived during the long, dark Nordic winters, take sunlight very seriously: never more so than when celebrating tomorrow’s summer solstice (aka the longest day of the year), a magical holiday of traditional food (herring, aquavit), song, and dance (around a verdant maypole). “Midsommar is so special and very close to my heart,” says Revlon’s artistic director Gucci Westman, who grew up in Sweden and remembers sleeping with seven flowers under her pillow hoping to dream of her future husband, which is a beloved Midsummer custom. Another is the wearing of flower wreaths, called midsommarkrans. “Wearing the crown makes you feel incredibly feminine and nostalgic,” Westman comments.

The making of these crowns, using a bit of string, birch, and field flowers, is something that Swedes like Westman and Ingrid Carozzi, a graphic designer turned florist and creative director of Tin Can Studios in Red Hook, Brooklyn—who made Frida Gustavsson’s crown (above, and who did the demonstration here)—grow up knowing how to do. Carozzi said she wanted to create a wreath that was genuine, but not cliché.
