Recently, during couture and the fall 2010 fashion weeks, we asked photographer and blogger Hanneli Mustaparta to shoot models running from show to show in their own clothes for Vogue.com. Every time her pictures came in, it seemed the girls got chicer and cooler, and there was one who really stood out: Frida Gustavsson. There she was wearing a vintage leather trench with her grandmother’s fur collar, and again layering a Phillip Lim fur over a vintage Chanel jacket and Phi trousers. Her look was, if not all out minimalism, clean and chic (in other words, not the model uniform of a leather legging and a rocker jacket we had gotten so used to seeing). So we thought it would be fun to go shopping with Frida and get a glimpse into how she gets this refreshing look (and fittingly, Hanneli came along to shoot).
