Frida Gustavsson

BON Summer 2011 by Annika Aschberg

Scanned by me (It's double paged but I'm a terrible scanner )
Name three styles you will have this summer.
It's going to be a rather relaxed and comfortable mix of denim from Dries van Noten, white shirts and YSL.

Tell us about the most beautiful place you've been photographed at.
Museé Rodin in Paris. It's as expensive and French as it gets and the garden is in a league of its own.

How are you going to furnish your first apartment?
For as long as I can remember I've had a strong love to Scandinavian 50s and 60s designers like Finn Juhl, Børge Mogensen, Hans J. Wegner and Hans-Agne Jakobsson. I am also weak for the North African colour scale, the raw materials and the rich details. I appreciate the contrast between the stripped functional and the faded used.

Who would you like to move in with?
Finn Juhl's home in Charlottenlund right outside Copenhagen. There is something poetic about his design and how he has created his home.

What do you look forward to the most about having your own apartment?
To have a base. Somewhere you can always return to and where everything is exactly like you left it. The luxury of knowing that no matter what happens, there is a place that is yours, only yours.

Cute! I don't think many 18 year olds can say they'll just be hanging around in Dries van Noten and YSL....

Great article! She's sounding so wordly and artistic. :crush: I translated the last paragraph online and this is what I got:

Frida Gustavsson is Sweden right now are booked display model and has gone on the catwalk for Jil Sander, Rick Owens, Haider Ackermann, Celine, Chanel and others. For summer, she graduated from St. Martins College in Sundbyberg, where she reads the textile, fashion and design. Frida has just bought an apartment.

Jesus. This campaign is "Where's Waldo" -_-
the girls are so overphotoshopped and without her beauty mark, they basically took the entire Frida away, ugh.
hopefully I IDd her correctly...unsure about the first shot though

Ondria and Frida compliment each other well though

That's definitely not her in the first two shots. I do wish she was in the eyewear campaign too, but it's too bad.

^ yeah, figured it couple of days ago -_- wah wah wah

such a cute shot above though, great in its' simplicity  Thanks for scanning, B.

Beautiful, beautiful shot , and as usual her interview is interesting, she knows a lot for an 18-year-old.

She's so inspiring to me, she's only one year older than me and Frida is already so successful and kind of "wise". She's just amazing.

She actually manages to pull of that paisley pattern quite well!

she looks great in that candid, she's got such an unique sense of style!

I don´t have words to describe how much I like those Lexington pics. It´s all the hair, her face, her legs.:wub::wub::wub:

Amazing on the Chanel book and on Lexington.

Yes I think the show was held in Stockholm.
Aww did she trim her bangs :crush: so precious, she is radiating summer. Literally
