Rigorous and sophisticated, Gabriele Colangelo offered a clean, minimal look with an arty touch. The designer worked fabrics to give a sculptural, 3-D effect to a range of beautiful outerwear pieces with a masculine vibe. A pink cotton coat was decorated with origami-inspired pleats on the back, while a bicolor one showed a feminine plissé motif on the front. Continuing his exploration of color and special dyeing methods, Colangelo looked to Japanese Shibori techniques for the delicate, fresh patterns decorating a layered printed cotton duchesse dress, along with a silk jacquard T-shirt with an unfinished effect paired with an asymmetric skirt.
