I think this will definitely put a new light on SJP, seeing as how I can see why it would be difficult not to be typecasted into the kind of role she was on Sex and the City.

I still remember the days of Hocus Pocus, and The First Wives Club. She had horrific on-set clothes for those movies, and horrific hair The last time I watched the first wives, I couldn't help but feel odd watching her play a ditzy character such as the gold-digger she was in that movie.

Can't wait for the Gap ads to start!

feel sorry for her? can't get work? Huh? endorsement deals like this are so ludicrous but smart... there is nominal work (after sex she wants to stay at home more), exposure (she does not want to go away completely) and keeps the cash flowing (she always needs more of this who doesn’t?).

I am excited to see the campaign too! I did not like the Madonna, Missy commercials at all.

pretty much everyone does Gap these days don't they? everyone from models (stella tennant, helena christensen, jessica miller, etc) to celebs, even b list ones (joy bryant, lucy liu, sara foster, scott speedman, etc)

i look forward to seeing the ads.

ps- about Lux, Liv Tyler used to be spokesperson in Asia, now they have replaced her with Kate Beckinsale
