I am speechless. I love it. The coat in the third photo is beyond, this has made my week, and to think couture kicks off tomorrow, I'm in fashion heaven!

I have loved Gareth Pugh ever since he came onto the fashion scene. His womens collections are so powerful, sculptural and inspiring, exactly what fashion should be. His last womens show was beautiful.
The mens debut however does not give me the same wow factor as his womens.
I see some great pieces but overall it wasnt shocking enough for me. It is actually very wearable which I think will sell well. But I was hoping for something more inspiring. maybe next season.. good debut overall.

He hit the nail on this collection. Fantastic! He's no longer creating art as fashion but has moved on to fashion as art and this is just divine! Can't wait to see what he has in store for women!

This is cool ****!!! I love it!! I agree tho RUI - like I love collections that have wearable pieces but also include conceptual pieces.. maybe a few would of been fantastic but other than that - its awesome!

    What's the spiked things????? I'm intrigued !

FLAWLESS. As usual. Finally something nice to look at.
Best Choice for closing the whole menswear week.

I guess the Gareth Pugh man doesn't like to be hugged! :p I really love the strips of metal on the shoulders though.

not nearly as atrocious as i would have expected, unwearable artsy, fartsy crap nonetheless. it's artsy for the sake of being artsy! true art as fashion is finding that thin line of making artful clothes which yet can be worn day in, day out.

    this? no.

You know what, I actually think this is much better than Rick Owens.

Barneys would get serious respect from me if they buy something from this collection, at least the relatively more wearable pieces (which could be easily spotted in this collection) for their Madison Ave store.

    *Getting teary*

He has always translate directly from his womenswear to his menswear, only this time, it looked SO much better!
"Better" = more varieties and more wearable.

I'm not gonna compare it to rick owen's, as I think this is just another ball game, so different. No point comparing :)
    LOVE IT!

definitely one of the most memorable collections of this menswear season, he mixed some elements of his previous womenswear and translated them to mens perfectly, he is really earning his own stand in the PFW circuit

I'm not sure I like a lot, but the last 3 pieces with hundreds of needles sticking out are amazing.
