It's Mcqueen without the romance but with a hint of Gaultier.
Knowing his offerings in the past, I don't necessarily think he's doing this to be gimmicky, but it has become a tad excessive recently (minus his Fall 2016 collections, which was one that season's best!!). Take out the costumey aspects of the show and you have a decent, well-made, and beautifully-designed wearable collection. His tailoring is out of this world though, currently the best in London!
